Returning home from the Great War, "Breezy" Hart (Fred Humes) and his shell-shocked buddy Frank Wilcox (Ralph McCullough) discover the Wilcox property in the hands of evil Sam Hardy (William Norton Bailey). Frank, who is the rightful heir to the ranch, goes into hiding, while "Breezy" takes a job in the ranch kitchen. Learning of Frank's whereabouts, Hardy plots to have the young heir killed. Luckily, Breezy overhears the villain plotting with his henchmen and is able to rescue his friend. Hardy and his men are arrested, and Frank, now cured of his illness, is reunited with his girl, June Marston (Nita Cavalier). Breezy, meanwhile, is busy romancing his kitchen staff colleague, Mary Jane (Louise Lorraine).

In an accessible area of south-west Lantau lies a 200-unit 1970s luxury resort called Sea Ranch. The eerie residential development was once described by Time Out as feeling “like visiting Discovery Bay after a direct hit from a neutron bomb“. The resort was completed in 1979, but accrued massive debt and was the subject of years of legal wrangling. Despite its notoriety, the self-contained enclave in Chi Ma Wan has quite idyllic surroundings and is visible to passengers on the Hong Kong-Macau ferry routes. There is now renewed interest, with several units undergoing refurbishment and more residents moving there, attracted by the secluded setting. A new documentary has just been published by a group of HKU students. Director Piotr J. Zembrowski, whose team shot the film in 3 weeks, said, “I made this documentary to explore what the developer’s initial vision was, what The Sea Ranch was like when it opened, what went wrong and what it is today.”

The Romance tells the story of a group of twenty San Diego single men and women dating in their search for love. The cast attends intriguing one on one dates, charity balls, and social/group events , as a hidden story line develops as well as the mysterious Miss X. Filmed in realistic day to day settings and with an expert panel of judges giving them feedback, the show is meant to both entertain and educate, as well as showcase some of San Diego county's wonderful landscapes, venues and the $17 million dollar La Jolla mansion.
